Every lighting project at Blingle follows a simple, guided process to ensure our customers get what they want. We aim to help the process flow smoothly from the first consultation to installation.
We know the holidays are the busiest time of year for many people, so we aim to be as informative and efficient about our process as possible to save everyone time.
STEP ONE
Design Consultation
The design consultation can either be completed virtually or in person with one of our design specialists. The designer will work with you to understand the type of project you are wanting and can also make suggestions based on their experience to best complete your project. By the end of the consultation, you will have digital images of your property illuminated so that you can see the finished product before you make any commitments.
STEP Two
Lighting Demo
Once we have an idea of what the project will look like, we’ll use the photos provided and create a computer-based lighting demo for the client. At this stage, we can tweak the design to ensure it’s precisely what the client wants.
STEP Three
Written Proposal
Now that we have determined what is required for the project, we can send the client a written proposal with a price estimate and what services we can offer. If any adjustments need to be made to the services, we can make those changes before proceeding.
STEP Four
Contract & Scheduling
Once the proposal is accepted, we’ll send out a contract for the project and schedule installation. We always do our best to work around our client’s schedules; however, be advised that at Christmas time, there may be a short wait time, so try to schedule as early as you can before your event if you have a tight deadline.
STEP Five
Installation
On the day of, our Jacksonville, Florida lighting experts at Blingle will arrive on-site at the scheduled time. We recommend being present when we begin to ensure we can find the necessary outlets; however, there is no need to remain on-site for the entire project.
The time it takes to complete the Christmas light installation will depend on the project. A simple rooftop lighting display may take no longer than an hour, whereas an elaborate yard and tree display may take a few hours.

Maintenance

Takedown
Our post-Christmas lighting takedown begins in early January. We’ll block out
a few weeks for this project alone, so it may take a few days to get to your
project. If you have a tight deadline where you need the lights down
quickly, please let us know when you schedule so we can accommodate your
needs.
We understand that some projects, like staging and real estate lighting, are
short-term and need to be removed before a buyer moves in.

Installation can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the project, however the typical residential installation can be completed in as little as a few hours
For liability and safety reasons we do not offer Christmas light rental for installation by the homeowner.
We typically begin the process of removing lights in early January, however you are welcome to extend your rental timeframe. Simply discuss your desire for an extended rental time period during your consultation and your designer will be happy to incorporate it into your estimate
